Most of what I do happens before anything gets designed.
I'm an art director and AI creative strategist. My work has run through tech, finance, retail, and culture — Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, National Vision, Under Armour, AT&T, IBM — by way of Ogilvy, Hogarth, and now my own studio. Different categories, same problem underneath: somebody needs people to understand something, and remember it, and come back.
That starts with the thinking. A campaign, a visual system, AI-assisted production — none of it gets made until I know what it's for. Strategy isn't a phase I pass through on the way to the fun part. It's where the work is decided.
What I'm actually good at is taking something somebody already knows is important to them and making it legible to everyone else. Sharper. Harder to walk past.
I'm open to creative roles — in-house or agency. If that's what you're building, let's talk.
Brand positioning
Strategic frameworks that clarify who you are and why it matters in a crowded market.
Campaign systems
Cohesive creative ecosystems designed to perform across channels and scale over time.
AI-assisted production
Scalable creative systems using generative tools—amplified by strategic thinking, not replaced by it.
Visual strategy
Premium art direction that builds lasting brand equity through intentional, culturally intelligent creative leadership.

Side view of a Mercedes Benz AMG GT speeding through the roads. Shot on Leica M6 on 35mm film, fine grain, candid rangefinder feel, Soviet Helios 44-2, swirly bokeh, soft vintage glow, deep focus at f/16, starburst points on light sources. Bold graphic shadows, saturated color blocks, sculptural cropping in the tradition of Viviane Sassen.
I lead with attentive, hands-on art direction. The detail is where the craft happens — and the craft is what makes the work perform.
Observe first
I don't rush to make things. I watch. I read the room before I enter it. Most creative problems aren't design problems — they're clarity problems. And clarity only comes from actually paying attention.
Find the pattern
An attentive eye catches what others walk past. I look for the tension in your brand — the gap between what you're saying and what people are hearing. That gap is where the real work begins.
Think deeply, then concept
I spend a lot of time in my head before anything hits a page. Ideas get pressure-tested internally before they're ever presented. What you see isn't a first draft — it's a considered position.
Build with precision
Every element earns its place. I'm not fast for the sake of fast — I'm deliberate. Typography, hierarchy, composition — each decision is intentional, not instinctive.
Refine without ego
I don't get precious about the work. If something isn't landing, I want to know why. Feedback sharpens the thinking — it doesn't threaten it.
Deliver with clarity
Clean files, zero ambiguity, full context. You leave knowing exactly what you have, why it works, and how to use it. No interpretation required.
I use generative AI the way a surgeon uses a scalpel — with intention. Not to replace craft, but to push past the limits of what one person could previously produce. The thinking stays human. The output gets sharper.
What I Bring
"I make brands impossible to ignore — and I'm looking for the right team to do it with."
Open to full-time, contract, and freelance roles.
